Mountainside Garden Project
Embracing the natural landscape.
When the planning began for this project, the house sitting on a hill provided its own unique set of ideas for incorportating natural gardens. Since the family loves bird watching, we decided to add a bird bath hidden among the plants.
Then creating paths to their special places among their yard was carefully laid with simple stonework. Each area in their yard is designed to appear natural yet purposeful. Stone and ivy create a very etheral feel to their mountainside home.
A beautiful addition for their front yard was a koi pond delicately showcasing a flowing waterfall and surrounded with luscious succulents. Providing shade for them to enjoy the pond was a must. So covering it with a simple fabric cover proved perfect.
Now the family can enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors all year long.
