When our clients remodeled their older farmhouse in Cleveland, Georgia , they focused on the inside. One day, they decided it was time to give the exterior get a new look. That’s where we came in. Since they have two young boys, an easy yard and low maintenace flowers were a must for their design plan.

So, we decided to create a more natural aesthetic to match their style home and added ornamental grasses along with low key flowers. Hydrangeas were among our client’s favorite bushes, so implementing a few along the front of the home was priority. Including a crepe myrtle at the side of the house gave it some grounding and shade.

We tried to create an easy flow from one area to another and decided to include stone steps leading to the side of their house where they access their hose. An eroding issue in their yard led to using larger river rock to keep things in place. Staying within a low budget and accomplishing their requests was easy to do by using simple choices of mulch and cost effective plants. All in all, this project was finished in a few days and now this sweet family can come home and enjoy their new and improved yard.
